NAAMS Shims

Freer Tool & Supply’s NAAMS shims collection helps fixture builders fine-tune alignment, height, and stack-up for more repeatable welding, assembly, and automation setups. Shims are used to make precise adjustments between bases, risers, locators, clamps, and mounting components—helping correct minor variation, improve fit-up, and maintain consistent part location across high-cycle production.

NAAMS shims NAAMS shims are used to close small gaps in automation setups, fitting between blocks, arms, and other spacers as needed. They’re available in 0.25 mm, 0.50 mm, 1.00 mm, and 2.00 mm thicknesses and are made from S.A.E. 1010 full hard steel. Finish options vary by size: 0.25 mm and 2.00 mm shims are uncoated, 0.50 mm shims are yellow zinc dichromate coated, and 1.00 mm shims have a black oxide finish.
