Freer Tool & Supply’s NAAMS locating pins (APQ Series) collection supports accurate, repeatable part location for welding fixtures, assembly tooling, and automation stations. Locating pins are critical for establishing consistent datum points—helping control part position, reduce variation, and improve fit-up across high-cycle production where repeatability is non-negotiable.
NAAMS Standardslocating pins in the APS series are fully metric, with diameters of 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16, 19, and 25 mm and overall lengths ranging from 51.8 mm to 179.8 mm. We carry all APS series part numbers, from APS061M to APS259RT, including both current and discontinued models. Pins with codes ending in “T” have a titanium nitride coating, while those ending in “R” are retractable. TiN-coated pins are available in A2 or D2 steel upon request, and all non-coated pins are produced from ANSI 4140 steel.
