The aluminum oxide abrasive offers fast, sharp cuts, and the heat-resistant X-weight cotton backing helps improve the disc's durability while retaining flexibility. The disc features a pressure sensitive adhesive that permits quick and easy disc changes. Use this versatile cloth disc on applications involving soft or hard woods, carbon steels, aluminum, brass or bronze. • Premium aluminum oxide abrasive gives an excellent initial cut rate • Durable X-weight cotton backing makes these discs a good blend of flexibility and life • The cotton backing provides good resistance to heat • Good consistent choice for medium grit sanding and finishing random orbital sander applications; pressure sensitive adhesive makes for easy application and removal on stationary sanders • 100-150 grit recommended for light deburring and cleaning
