NW Toggle Screws

NW toggle screws are industrial screw components used in quick-acting clamping and adjustable holding setups (application dependent). They’re commonly used in fixtures, jigs, and light workholding applications where you need a repeatable screw contact point and fast adjustment during setup or changeover. Depending on the design, toggle screws may be used as part of a toggle-style mechanism or as a dedicated clamping screw with a specific tip geometry to contact and hold a workpiece without slipping (application dependent).

7-Degree Tilt Pads for Full Contact with Angular Surfaces - Northwestern Tools toggle screws feature innovative 7-degree tilt pads that stop rotating upon contact with the workpiece, preventing marring and ensuring full clamping force is directed squarely against the part to prevent work movement. Available in hex socket configuration for flush mounting and hex key installation, or knurled head configuration for hand tightening. Choose steel pads for general industrial applications or Delrin pads for soft materials, finished surfaces, and chemical resistance (resistant to oils, cutting fluids, and most chemicals).
