Fluid Level Sight Glasses, Fluid Level Indicators, Sight Glasses and Fill / Drain Plugs

Sight glasses and fluid level indicators are used to provide a means to view the level of fluid in a container or tank. Offered in a variety of combinations of metal, plastic, and glass, to accommodate different types of fluids and tank pressure. This section also includes threaded plugs, pipe plugs, drain plugs, and filler breathers. These components are designed to be used to seal a variety of openings and are offered in both metal and plastic. Types include magnetic (to filter out metal fillings), versions with fill or drain labels, dipsticks, splash guards, and strainers.

Retaining Magnet Assemblies

Retaining magnet assemblies provide a simple, no-wear means of holding an object via magnetic forces. To prevent damage from corrosion some magnets have protection layers, a retrofit/portable installation is desired, or only a temporary fix is required, this product group offers a large selection of suitable magnets.

Indexing Plungers, Ball Plungers, and Spring Plungers for various assembly

Indexing plungers

An indexing plunger is a normed detent device. Standard parts and machine elements can be fixed in a certain position using indexing plungers. They create a secure connection with limited play. The conventional indexing plunger is usually actuated with a pull button.

Cam action indexing plungers

Cam action indexing plungers are a modified variant of the indexing plungers. The lock can be released by turning the bolt.

Clamping indexing plungers

Clamping indexing plungers are used for positioning, securing, and clamping adjusting elements at the same time. Where defined bores are available for engaging the integrated pin, the positive connection typical of a pin is used. At any other position, the clamping indexing plunger utilizes friction locking.

Locking pins

Locking pins are used for quick fixing, connecting, and locking of various parts and workpieces. Pressing the spring-loaded push button unlocks both balls, and releasing it locks the balls again.

Thrust pads

Spring thrust pads are generally used as pressure pins in applications. A spring thrust pad is used when a workpiece has to be quickly fixed, indexed, or positioned in toolmaking or mechanical engineering application. The locking function is simple, useful, and functional. Winco's range is very wide to cover many applications.

Joint Pieces, Ball Joints, Universal Joints, Bearings, Idler Pulleys

Our mechanical joints section offers components used as motion transference accessories for motors and engines, involving pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders. Forkheads (also known as yokes) and joint pieces act as connectors, while ball, axial and universal joints (also known as U-joints) are used to transfer motion in the desired direction smoothly and with minimal friction.

Spherical bearings allow for rotating motion to occur without excessive friction, vibration, noise, or wear. Rod end bearings are used to control and link mechanisms with the lowest possible friction.
