Hand levers and tension levers

Adjustable levers are clamping components that offer a ratcheting feature that is especially useful in tight spaces. Their design also allows for easier visual adjustment to specific positions, and their ergonomic shape makes them user-friendly. They are ideal for situations where more torque is required than can be achieved with a simple knob.

Hand levers and tension levers, also called clamping levers, are standard parts for tensioning and clamping components on machines, devices, and mechanisms of all kinds. They consist of a handle and a threaded insert, which can be designed with male or female thread. Hand levers replace commonly used clamping screws such as wing screws or star knobs.

There are both fixed and adjustable designs. While the handle and threaded insert form a single unit on fixed tension levers, adjustable hand levers have a threaded insert that is connected to the handle by a releasable serration lock. Adjustable hand levers are ideal whenever parts have to be clamped in a confined space or in a particular lever position.

Clamping knobs are basic components that function by providing a strong grip or secure control through the use of elements such as texturing, knurling, lobes, or wings. Our selection of industrial knobs for clamping provides every possible option to suit any application.

We have textured nylon knobs, knobs with three to nine lobes (including four-pronged star knobs), triangular knobs, wing nuts, wing screws, and many styles of knurled knobs. Mounting options include threaded stud, tapped, tapped insert, tapped through-hole, blind bore, and through bore. Materials include nylon plastic, phenolic plastic, polypropylene, technopolymer plastic, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. A broad range of sizes and configurations emphasize such aspects as ergonomic grip, quick release, sanitary applications, and more.

Cam levers, Wedge Clamps, and Centering Bore Clamps

In addition to eccentric and cam point levers, this group includes wedge clamps and centering bore clamps. Cam units and cam levers are used for quick clamping and release.

Push-Pull Toggle Clamps, Latch Type Toggle Clamps, Toggle Latches, Pneumatic Fastening Clamps

Toggle clamps are used for temporary clamping that can be employed and released easily via the motion of a handle, lever, or pneumatic switch. Different applications for toggle clamps require different configurations, including vertical, push-pull, cam, latch, and hook designs. They also require different sizes and clamping pressure. We offer this large variety of designs in our toggle clamps line, in both steel and stainless steel, as well as accessories and related products like spindles, toggle pliers, toggle screws, knee lever modules, plastic handles, clamping arms and extenders, bushings, base plates, and proximity switches.
