Freer Tool and Supply is the North American Licensed Regional Distributor for Carver Clamps. These clamps are used within many applications, such as welding, open set-up machining, manual die clamping, general surface machining, and rapid job change-overs. Carver clamps represent the innovations done to the ordinary "C" clamp. They consist of two major components which are the frame and moveable jaw. This creates a much sturdier hold over the common style "C" clamp. The work is securely held by both jaws and not just one jaw and a screw.

These high-quality products are designed to withstand the rigors of heavy industrial use and are manufactured at our production facility at Nuneaton in the UK. The range was specifically developed for use in the welding sector and incorporates unique features for this purpose. Carver Clamps are, however, also used in other areas such as fabrication and woodworking. The range includes Rack and Bar clamps, T Slot clamps, Buttress clamps, a Multi Clamp, and Machine Vices.

Features

• Bar-Style and C-Style are sturdy clamps that are made from heat-treated high-tensile steel. They are designed for all applications that require large holding capacities ranging from 1,250 to 6,000 lbs [5.5 26.7kN].
• Bar-Style clamps are very versatile with reversible jaws and multiple jaws can be used together on the bar for multi-point or positioning.
• Buttress-style clamps are designed to replace ordinary strap clamps. They are for thin or low-profile workpieces.
• Buttress style clamps come with a swivel pivot which allows for self-aligning.
• T-Slot style clamps are a single assembly clamp, designed with a single-unit clamp head and base with no loose pieces.
• T-Slot style clamps provide a quick and easy height adjustment and with positive holding.
