• Applications: 35° blunt taper Durometers are suitable for testing soft and natural rubber products, neoprene, polyesters, soft P.V.C., leather, thiokol, nitrile rubbers, wax, felt. Sharp 30°: testing hard rubber, hard synthetic materials, e.g. acrylics, glass, polystyrol, thermoplastics, printing rolls, vinyl sheets, cellulose acetates, densified wood, etc. • Manufactured in accordance with DIN, ASTM, ISO and JIS specifications. • Test pieces should have a thickness of at least .20 (5mm) to provide accurate readings that conform to Shore A hardness scales and .12 (3mm) for Shore D hardness scales • The test piece size should extend .47 (12mm) from each side • Includes reference test block, operating instructions and fitted case
