Plastic Pad Covers
Where soft material with finely finished surfaces must be clamped with relatively high pressures, we recommend using the Jergens Plastic Pad Covers. Resistant to oils and cutting compounds, they snap over the swivel end of our clamp shoe assemblies, padded thumb screws, toggle pads, and adjustable torque thumb screws. Plastic Pad Covers snap over the outside diameter of Jergens swivel pads.
Toggle Pads
Carbide Tipped Toggle Pads provide multiple point contact to compensate for surfaces that are rough or out-of-round. Points will embed themselves in the workpiece, which assures positive gripping. It eliminates possible radial load on the workpiece. Note: Metric Toggle Pads have two flats instead of a hex configuration on the head.
