Inventory Control Specialist
Freer Tool and Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Specialist to join our team immediately. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week plus 10 hours of overtime. We are looking for a dedicated individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize inventory control software to track product movement.
- Data Entry, Creating part listings and descriptions.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet Jacks.
- Maintain quality and safety control standards in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials.
- Follow procedures and warehouse safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet company goals.
Requirements:
- Computer and Internet proficiency is required.
- Strong time management and attention to detail are a must.
- Courteous, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience with inventory management programs is preferred.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is desirable.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Candidates must be prompt, hardworking, and maintain a high level of integrity.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Benefits:
Blue Cross and Blue Shield-no out of pocket cost paid for completely by the Company.
Dental and Optical after one year of service.
Bonus program paid two times a year in June and December. 3 percent or more based on your gross pay.
Sick leave and vacation pay after 120 days of service. Up to 72 hours a year.
Holiday Pay after 90 days of service. Company pays 9-11 holidays a year.
Life Insurance Policy; 15,000 dollars after a year of service.
Compensation:
