VG Plug Gages

Vermont Gage Plug Gages: Precision Dimensional Verification Solutions
VG plug gages (plug gauges) are precision inspection tools used to verify internal diameters (ID) of holes, bores, and machined features (application dependent). In production and quality control, plug gages are valued for fast, repeatable checks that help confirm parts meet print requirements without relying only on variable measuring tools. Depending on the specific item, plug gages may be used as GO/NO‑GO limit gages for pass/fail inspection or as setting/master standards (verify per listing).
Standard Class X Go and NoGo plug gages are used as masters to calibrate equipment or to gage parts directly. Either way, these gages are accurate, cost effective measurement standards for the shop floor and the metrology laboratory.
