NW Toggle Shoe Clamps with Retaining Spring

NW toggle shoe clamps with retaining spring are toggle-style clamping assemblies designed to provide repeatable, quick-acting hold-down force in fixtures, jigs, and production setups (application dependent). The clamp shoe helps distribute contact over a broader surface area, which can improve stability and reduce marring in certain applications compared to a small contact tip (application dependent). A retaining spring is commonly used to help keep the shoe/assembly retained and positioned during operation, supporting consistent engagement and faster changeovers (per design).

Special Spring Prevents Marring - 10° Tilt Adjusts to Uneven Surfaces - Northwestern Tools toggle shoe clamps with retaining spring feature a special spring mechanism that permits shoes to stop rotating upon contact with the workpiece, preventing marring of soft materials and finished surfaces. All steel and Delrin shoes tilt 10 degrees in any direction, automatically adjusting to uneven surfaces for full contact and consistent clamping pressure. Available in three configurations: hand knob (reduces operator fatigue), knurled head (hand tightening), and socket (flush mounting with hex key installation). All shoes are interchangeable with all three types of toggle shoe clamps of the same thread size.
