Kipp Plastic Body - POM Ball

KIPP plastic body / POM ball components are commonly used as plastic ball plungers (detent plungers) for positioning, indexing, and light retention in fixtures and machine elements (application dependent; verify per listing). A POM ball (POM is also known as acetal) is often selected to help reduce marking on mating surfaces and to provide smooth contact in applications where a metal ball could scratch or gall. Plastic-body designs can also be useful where corrosion resistance, lighter weight, or electrical insulation is preferred (application dependent).
