JG spring stops—often called spring‑loaded stops or button stops—are spring-loaded components used to provide a repeatable stop point, light holding force, or positioning contact in fixtures and mechanical assemblies (application dependent). Flat button / flat‑face styles are commonly chosen when you want a broader contact surface against a part, plate, or slide, helping distribute force and reduce marring compared to pointed tips in certain setups. These components are frequently used in modular fixturing, guards, adjustable stops, and general machine-element applications where consistent contact and controlled spring pressure are needed.

Jergens Spring Stops are used to preload and guide stock through dies as well as the preloading of tool slides and light-duty bumper stops. Three styles of Spring Stops are available: Button Type, Flat Button Type, & Tang Type.
