IMI demagnetizers help remove residual magnetism from metal parts and tools—an important step in machining, inspection, and maintenance environments where magnetized parts can attract chips, interfere with handling, or affect measurement consistency. Demagnetizing is especially useful after magnetic workholding, grinding, or processes where parts pick up magnetism and start collecting debris.
Magnetizer/Demagnetizer
Keep those small screws & nuts in position by magnetizing your standard screwdriver. Insert a screwdriver or nut driver into the hole on the pocket magnetizer, pull it out, and your screwdriver is magnetized. Leave the magnetizer on the tool for extra strength. To demagnetize your tool, pass it through one of the outside channels.
Surface Type Demagnetizer
Surface-type demagnetizers are designed for stationary or portable use and provide continuous duty operation as workpieces pass over the demagnetizer faceplate. This surface-type design provides flexibility for installation under, over, or alongside conveyors for demagnetizing applications. They are available in 120, 240, and 480 VAC.
