Halder Floating Clamps

Floating clamps so-called position-flexible or clamps that float are used to clamp and simultaneously support overdetermined or additional clamping points on components. The floating clamp is spring-loaded and contacts the workpiece with a slight spring force. Thereby a low-warpage clamping of components is guaranteed. Even sophisticated workpieces can be clamped for reinforcement to beads, ribs, and shackles. This inhibits vibrations during processing.

The extensive product range includes various types ex stock:

Compact version with reduced height; supporting force 8 kN:

  • Floating clamp, compact version, with combined clamping and locking, M 12
  • Floating clamp, compact version, with separate clamping and locking, M 12

Standard version; supporting force 8 kN:

  • Floating clamp with combined clamping and locking, M 12
  • Floating clamp with separate clamping and locking, M 12
  • Standard clamping jaws for floating clamp M 12
  • Clamping jaws for floating clamp M 12

Particularly suitable for large components with heavy processing; supporting force 25 kN:

  • Floating clamp with combined clamping and locking, M 16
  • Clamping jaws for floating clamp M 16

Supporting elements and compensating elements, like the supporting element (23220.0400) and the bedding support (23220.0085 - .0450), complete the range of topics.
