AT COUNTERSINKS

AT countersinks are cutting tools used to create a chamfer or countersunk seat at the top of a drilled hole (application dependent). They’re commonly used to seat flat-head fasteners flush with the surface and to break sharp edges after drilling for improved fit, finish, and handling safety. Because countersinks are selected by both fastener requirements and material, choosing the right angle and flute style is key to getting consistent results.
