Spring Plungers with Delrin Nose
Short Spring Plungers
Spring-Loaded Devices
Self-contained plunger-and-spring device available in many sizes and forces. Short Spring Plungers have a shorter overall length, and shorter stroke, than our standard Spring Plungers. Available in the four versions shown below. Made in the USA.
Install and/or adjust from either end. When using the slot at the plunger end to install, use a Plunger Wrench instead of a screwdriver to avoid over-compressing the spring (see Related Products below). A thread-locking element holds the unit securely in place after installation.
Steel with Delrin® Nose
Body > 12L14 steel, black oxide finish. Plunger nose > Brown Delrin® 500 (heavy force) or white Delrin® 500 (light force). Spring > Music wire. DFARS and RoHS compliant.
Stainless Steel with Delrin® Nose
Body > 300-series stainless steel. Plunger nose > Brown Delrin® 500 (heavy force) or white Delrin® 500 (light force). Spring > 302 stainless. DFARS and RoHS compliant.
