Carr Lane renewable bushings generally are used in combination with a liner bushing and lockscrew. This type of bushing can be used when you expect to replace bushings during a tooling’s lifetime, or to switch bushings to perform multi-step operations with the same tooling.
Carr Lane renewable bushings are available in both slip/fixed and flat-milled types. Each renewable bushing in the Carr Lane catalog is made from stress-proof steel, and is offered in a variety of standard drill sizes. Carr Lane renewable bushings comply with DFARS and RoHS requirements. Browse our selection of American made renewable bushings below.
Carbide version of our popular SF bushing, for high-production applications. Replaceable SFC bushings are generally used with a liner bushing and lockscrew. Use when you expect to replace bushings during the tooling's lifetime, or to switch bushings to perform multi-step operations with the same tooling. SFC bushings combine the benefits of older SC-type slip-renewable and FC-type fixed renewable bushings: one side has a lockscrew recess for fixed mounting; the other has a locking recess that allows the bushing to slip down, then rotate to lock in place.
