Halder Locating and Seating Elements

Halder Locating and Seating Elements

Halder Locating & Seating Elements | Precision Positioning Solutions | Freer Tool

Halder locating and seating elements are fixture components used to create repeatable positioning and stable seating for parts, pallets, and tooling (application dependent). Locating elements help define where a part sits in X/Y (and sometimes rotation), while seating elements provide consistent contact points that support the part at a defined height. Together, these components are commonly used in fixture building and modular workholding to improve repeatability, reduce setup variation, and speed up changeovers (application dependent).

Components for Positioning and Supporting Workpieces - Locating elements and seating elements are components for positioning and supporting workpieces. These are often referred to as positioning elements or positioning feet. They are used, for example, in workpiece clamping technology as a support, pin, or stop. Seating pins are also used as feet for machines and devices. The extensive product range includes various seating elements (seating pins, grippers, hard metal inserts) and locating pins from stock. New in the range is seating elements and pins with a plastic bearing surface made of PEEK.
