These precision Riser Blocks provide an economical way to raise an MC60 or MC60Z vise for 5-Axis machining. The 3 x 3 x 7 block shown here is furnished with locating and mounting holes on top for a 5-axis vise, and with bottom locating holes for accurately mounting on a modular fixture plate. This size can also be mounted directly on a rotary table. Made in the USA.
Modular-fixturing plates have multipurpose holes, with a .5000-dia bushing on top for location, and 1/2-13 threads below for fastening. Use two CL-MF40-4301 Locating Screws to locate and fasten the Riser Block to the modular plate (see Related Products below).
See Related Products below for mounting accessories. To locate the Riser Block at the exact center of a machine table, first install a Center Locating Key that matches the table's center-hole diameter in the riser's 25mm bottom center hole. For exact radial orientation, install a Step Fixture Key that matches the table's slot width in the riser's 20mm bottom slot. Fasten the riser to the machine table with two 1/2-13 x 1.25 or M12 x 30mm socket-head cap screws and T Nuts to match the table slots.
